ABPR

Animal by-product Regulations control the use of materials of animal origin that are not intended for human consumption, such as blood, feathers and uneaten eggs, meat or fish. AD plants can treat low-risk forms of this waste (e.g. catering waste, cooking oil, fish) and manures. Food waste (and imported manure) must be batch pasteurised at 70°C for one hour to reduce the content of possible disease-causing microorganisms.
