Overview

Rónan is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers with nearly 30 years of industrial and regulatory experience, including over ten years of consultancy experience working on a variety of projects across numerous industries, including: hazard assessment studies; feasibility studies; HAZOP studies; Major Accident Hazard Assessment and impact analysis; and, owner’s engineer roles. Rónan has undertaken such projects for the oil and gas and petrochemical industries; energy from waste industry; waste management industry; biomass industry; and anaerobic digestion industry, and has worked in various countries cross continental Europe, the UK, the Republic of Ireland, and South Africa.

Prior to consultancy Rónan spent 10 years working as a Process Engineer for SEPA, regulating a wide range of industrial processes, from the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors, to waste recovery, including biomass and EfW processes. Prior to working for SEPA Rónan worked for 6 years as a process engineer and environmental manager in the chemical industry, and 3 years in an industrial emissions monitoring consultancy.
