Impacts of trace element supplementation on anaerobic digestion performance

New research has been published showing that "Trace element supplementation improves the anaerobic digestion performance".

In particular, "Fe, Ni, Co are the most desirable trace elements in the anaerobic digestion system".

Knowledge of trace elements is clearly an area that all AD operators must have. Profitabilility depends on it.

It is therefore useful that these Malaysian researchers have publicised their findings in the Bioresource Technology journal.

The full name of the project is "Impacts of trace element supplementation on the performance of anaerobic digestion process: A critical review" and can be found (at a cost) here

We'll be discussing all the latest techniques to improve operational performance at our Research and Innovation Forum. See the full programme here
