New research on how farm-based digestate should be stored

New research by Rothamsted and the University of Milan has looked at ammonia emissions from farm-based digestate: these can increase by separating the liquid and solid fractions of digestate, depending on how the liquid fraction is then stored. 

See more here. Ammonia emissions cause global warming and also reduce the nutrients available for agriculture so should be a key consideration for farm-based AD operators.
