Food Waste Recycling Action Plan

The Food Waste Recycling Action Plan (FWRAP) is an industry-led initiative to increase the quantity of household food waste being recycled in England. The UK has a target of recycling 50% of household waste by 2020, with Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales currently ahead of England.

Key to the plan is disseminating much of the tools, best practice and lessons that have been learned to date on food waste collections and recycling, which can be found on the WRAP website:
