Policy Forum event - Developing the role of cities in the energy sector

Policy Forum for London are holding an event entitled "Developing the role of cities in the energy sector, and next steps for energy in London" on Thursday 30 April with speakers including: Matthew Pencharz, Senior Advisor for Environment & Energy to the Mayor of London, GLA & Dr Stephen Bass, Head of Sustainable Energy Policy, Ofgem. 

The conference focuses on the practicalities of implementation - including finance, sustainability and best practice - and what it will mean for consumers, communities, sustainability and the energy supply market. 

There will also be discussion on the progress of Government's Community Energy Strategy and the recent launch of the Urban Community Energy Fund, which provides community groups the opportunity to bid for funding to help kick-start their energy projects, alongside other areas of interest.
