Theresa May: Government wants to divert waste to recycling from incineration and landfill

Prime Minister Theresa May confirmed at Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday that the government wants "to maximise the amount of waste that is sent to recycling rather than to incineration and landfill" and confirmed that ministers are keeping the option of a tax on incineration open for consideration.
